LIGHTING SOLUTION I am a little obsessed with lights, not the ceiling downlight variety, but pendants and lamps of all description. The hardest thing about hanging your pendant is the position you want it to hang is most likely NOT where the electrician has wired it and so enter looped lights. LET THERE BE LIGHT When we bought our little cottage the thing that really stood out was the lack of lighting. There were no pendants or ceiling lights, only wall fixtures, and the the light coming from those was limited. When we renovated I was adamant that I wanted each space to have adequate sources of ambient, task and accent lighting. Well my living room has had a wee makeover, the walls are fresh and white again, the art wall has diminished from 9 prints to just two, the cushions have gone monochrome but my design – eye tells me something is missing.
