LIGHTING SOLUTION
I am a little obsessed with lights, not the ceiling downlight variety, but pendants and lamps of all description.
The hardest thing about hanging your pendant is the position you want it to hang is most likely NOT where the electrician has wired it and so enter looped lights. Yes you can love your light cords, now available in a variety of pattern and colours they are something to be admired not hidden away as in days gone by.
But how to hang these looped wires tidily and safely? Never fear I have the solution for you. It is called Little Bishop and I say… Amen!
An easy addition to your design aesthetic; they come in white but are paintable so they can become one with your cord or ceiling colour.
Two easy components work for easy installation. The post comes in three sizes which means you can increase your light length without having to extend the electrical cord.
In my previous homes scullery the looped pendant allowed for additional task lighting.
In the living room hanging this light at the exact position next to the sofa for aesthetic purposes would have required an electrician. This would have meant you would need to patch up holes and of course should you change the style/size of your sofa at some point you would need to repeat the whole process.
