Sweet Nothings

SWEET NOTHINGS

I really wanted to try this Bounty Bar Recipe.

I really, really wish I hadn’t!

The are so simple to make and totally delicious, and what better way to present them than on a marble tray with some summer roses that are in abundance in My Little House garden just at the moment

Tempted?

2/3 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk

3 Cups Coconut

1/2 Cup Icing Sugar

250g Bar Chocolate

Mix together until sticky enough to form small bars or bites.  Refridgerate for about one hour until firm.

Melt your block of chocolate gently in the microwave.  I used Whittakers 50% Dark.

Remove bars from fridge and dip and cover in melted Chocolate.

Roll in a variety of toppings or leave plain.   I used Roasted Peanuts, Slivered Almonds and Coconut.  Cranberries and pistachios would be nice for Christmas.

Refrigerate until the chocolate is set.

Makes about 16 small bars

Now I just have to work on sharing and not eating them.
